"La plupart des thermostats modernes ont une zone morte. Si la température s’écarte de moins de 4 °C de la température réglée, le système ne chauffe pas et ne refroidit pas. Cette zone dite morte du thermostat empêche le système de s’allumer et de s’éteindre trop souvent, économisant ainsi de l’énergie."
